Reasons is a show dedicated to the body of work designated "S.” This collection was born from the idea of a model and a simple stripe of paint and evolved into a conceptualization of form as an afterthought. Form without mass.  Each sculpture began the same — one body becoming wax and then bronze. But every piece became an individual, not a copy. Each piece possesses its own strengths, weaknesses, and imperfections. In this sense my understanding of the project grew.  This creation transformed into more than was planned and became a true collaboration between art and artist.
